Our recruitment process

At DP World we attract and retain the best in the business. And as an equal opportunities employer we champion a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you'd like to become part of the team, here are the stages of our recruitment process:

Stage 1: Online Application

All applicants are encouraged to apply online for vacancies listed on the website. Please ensure the information you provide is accurate and up to date. Applications will remain in our database for six months. During that time we may contact you if another position becomes available that matches your profile

Stage 2: Shortlist

The hiring manager and Human Capital department will review all applications and draw up a shortlist based on skills and experience. The number of people on the shortlist varies depending on the role

Stage 3: Interview and Assessment

Typically short listed applicants will be invited to a personal interview. The interview may be conducted by telephone, or video conference, or in person, or at a designated assessment centre. As part of this process, DP World may conduct skills assessments, as well as a psychometric evaluation, depending on the nature of the position.

Stage 4: Offer of Employment

Based on the interview performance and the applicant's suitability for the role, the hiring manager will make a decision on who should be offered the position. The successful applicant will be contacted by the recruitment team and given a conditional offer of employment, pending completion of background and reference check.
