About the Role:

This position reports to System Analyst Supervisor.

Key accountabilities will include: 

  • ORACLE applications (AR, AP, GL, HRMS and Payroll) technical and functional support
  • Gather user requirements in ORACLE apps and propose the right solution
  • Closely work with application vendors during upgrades and new implementation
  • Monitor all application's performance and identify the problem areas
  • Distribute the problems to System Analysts/Developers for solutions
  • Guide System Analysts/Developers for right solutions
  • Gather user requirements
  • Patch deployment for applications
  • Communicate the errors and problems to application vendors and follow up for solutions
  • Perform quality assurance testing for new/amended applications
  • Generate/update documents for all applications
  • Evaluate end users requirements and give recommendations for changes
  • Share the load of System analysts in coding and DB design
  • System enhancement proposals and proposal analysis
  • Active role in New applications Implementation
  • Basic database Administration
  • Conduct User Training
  • Second Line User Support
Experience & Qualifications:

In order to give credible support to the organisation and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or PG Diploma in Computer

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position for ORACLE applications (AR, AP, GL, HRMS and Payroll) support in LINUX environment. Exposure to port related applications will be an advantage
