About the Role

The HR Officer leads, in partnership with CHO Group People, all HR functions including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. It is also responsible to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations in Searates, Ukraine.

The job holder is a key member of the Searates, Ukraine being the principle/only HR support and needs to work effectively with all team members in the office to ensure all support needs are identified, prioritised and met.

 

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental leaders to understand skills and competencies required for open positions.
  • Administer the onboarding process for new hires, including inductions, supply desktop/laptop, phone lines, mobile, domain account and email account and different system accesses, seating arrangements, etc is provided.
  • Maintains compliance with local law and regulations and recommended best practices; create and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance in partnership with the legal consultants as needed/required.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Lead the performance management process according with DP World policies.
  • Ensure that the learning and development programs are in place according with DP World policies that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Responsible person to ensure all safety regulations is in compliance with the local regulations. Liaise with GHSE when require sharing best practices and ensure alignment when possible.
  • Responsible to partner with the relevant parties to process the payroll in compliance with local regulations and DP World policies.
  • Provides guidance and inputs on business unit structure, workforce planning a succession planning.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activities.
  • Responsible to develop and keep updated organization charts, job descriptions and specifications.
  • Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of engagement.
  • Responsible to monitor annual leave, sick leave and other absences.
  • Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

In order to give credible support to the organisation and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

  • HR bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR functions.
  • Certified on fire safety according with Ukrainian law (preferable).
  • Human Resources related professional certificate or qualification (preferable).
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) with strong report writing skills.
  • Requires strong administrative, clerical and computer user skills (word processing, spread sheet management and presentation).
  • Requires well developed planning and organising skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to take decisions and work on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail and highest standards/quality of work.
  • Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasks and juggle priorities
